SKYVIEW Hotel Bangkok - Sukhumvit

Room was small and basic. Air conditioning was loud and smelly. Pillows were terrible.

Amenities. Views. Rooftop. Breakfast. Location. Sunsets. Free water.

It’s close to BTS station that makes getting around the city very convenient. Very nice and modern, loved the Japanese style toilet ?The room is large and comfortable.

We loved everything about this hotel. There’s only a small detail that caught me off guard when we checked out. We were charged for a few drinks that were put inside the full size fridge in the room. There was no sign nor price list for it. It’s not a mini bar.It’s not a big deal, but I think they should have it disclosed clearly so guests won’t be surprised. I would still give them a 5* for their hospitality

It was gorgeously decorated and clean and had everything you need- pool, gym, restaurant, rooftop bar, breakfast!

It’s the second time I’ve stayed at this hotel, and I still highly recommend it. The location is perfect, close to shopping malls and the BTS train. Sukhumvit is crowded but lively, with many restaurants nearby. The Mojjo Bar and rooftop in the hotel are excellent, with a very warm and welcoming staff, especially the manager, Marjo.

Everything was perfect except for the cleaning. We stayed for five nights, and housekeeping only made the bed and changed the towels. Dirty glasses and cups were left for days without being removed, and the bathroom was not cleaned properly.

Location perfect, close to BTS, sukhumvit and 24 BLVD area. Staff were friendly and facilities were good, pool, restaurants and so on.

In general the hotel was clean, rooms were clean as well. But not deep cleaned, some areas of bed and bath tub were not fully clear

The location is very good. The rooms are clean, the housekeeping service is excellent, and the view from the room is okay.

The pool is cold and there are far too few sun loungers. The reception staff was not very friendly or accommodating. We had already booked our room, but on the day of check-in a higher-floor room was available at a lower price. Despite this, we were neither offered this room nor an upgrade at the same price.In addition, the “shower room” advertised by the staff turned out to be simply a public toilet near the pool with a shower cabin that is not enclosed and cannot be closed off, which was disappointing.We have been to Bangkok around ten times and stay in different five-star hotels each time. This was by far the worst one so far. In our opinion, it does not meet five-star standards. There are many other five-star hotels in this price range that offer much better value for money, so we would not recommend staying here.

Next to Emporium and well centrally located. Great to get around town. The Sky Bar was amazing

I think we got unlucky with the room because wc got clogged twice, even without using it at all. In the morning it was just getting filled with water and very slowly dripping away. After first time it was fixed in the afternoon, but in the morning it was the same. Finally, 3rd morning was fineThe upgrade for the grand room is not worth it, even though it was only 1000 bahtWe were expecting some views, but we had only a very close industrial building in front of us. Only one side window was nicerBathroom had thin cuirtains with gaps between them - considering that we saw people in the building that was 20m in front of us, it was not cosy at all, expecially trying to use the bath tubPool was clean, it's at 8th floor. But the windows at the edges are not clean at all and looking through them when close was not nicePool shower did not work once in the women bathroomThe room keycard stopped working and it had to be changed, but I guess it happens. Good thing they were very quick to fix it

It's the 2nd Christmas for us in SkyView Hotel.We enjoyied everything.

Not enough sun beds in the pool for everybody.Breakfast closing time at 10.30 is too strict, waiters should be a little more flexy to take away everything.

The hotel’s location is fantastic, especially if you enjoy being near malls and shopping areas. Everything was walkable and convenient. The rooftop pool was awesome

Incredible view from the 27th floor. Lovely sky bar. We ate mainly in the restaurants in the nearby malls,very convenient.

In the middle of Em district, right next door to Emporium and the sky train station, everything was easy to reach.The hotel room was perfect, super clean , soft comfortable bedding, slept soundly even though the city is a noisy one. Housekeeping, is quick and efficient with a nice touch of adding flowers on the bedspread or a vase to the room, thank you Pia.Breakfast was very good with so many options, the restaurant and room service food was very good and very fast.There’s a very good Japanese restaurant in the lobby called Ten Show.Staff are wonderful, the concierge desk staff are super helpful.

The carpet in the room needs renewal, other than that, nothing else.

I thought the breakfast was great, with plenty of options that varied from day to day. Loved the assortment of fresh fruit, juice and the omelette station. The staff were friendly and attentive and the hotel itself is beautiful.

I didn’t love the keycard-light situation. It could get annoying that a keycard had to be inserted in that slot for the lights to turn. If you’re sharing a room and someone leaves with their card, another person has to come insert their card to keep the lights on. It also can make it easy to forget the card on the way out.
